Cultural visit to Toledo, the city of the three cultures.

      On April, 4^th some of our students from second E.S.O. went on a day-trip to visit Toledo. We had a tour guide in English who showed us the Cathedral, the Synagogue of The Tránsito and the Mosque Cristo de la Luz. In the afternoon, students played a gymkhana organized by the Department of Social Sciences in English.

Pancakes with Lindsey

  Lindsey, our English teaching assistant, taught us how to cook pancakes.

 According to the original recipe, dry and liquid ingredients must be mixed in different bowls.  Pancakes may be served at any time, specially at breakfast, with a great variety of toppings and fillings. They were all YUMMY!!!

                                        

iSpy: A theatre play in English

Our first and second year E.S.O. students travelled to Madrid to attend a theatre play in English language called iSpy.

James Wrong, secret agent 003 ½ , is on a mission to defeat the evil Dr. Z. In an attempt to dominate the world, Dr. Z has secured a highly contagious virus which she will use to manipulate and destroy the world´s Governments. To stop Dr. Z, James Wrong will have to trust in his training, make new friends and use all the gadgets Her Majesty´s Secret Service gives him. But he is faced with a formidable obstacle: his own clumsiness and ineptitude!

El Túnel del Terror. Los alumnos de 3º de PMAR decoraron una de las aulas a modo de túnel del terror con la supervisión de la profesora Leyre Pérez Quiroz. Acto “Black Friday” contra la violencia de género en el hall del instituto. Alumnos y profesores del centro realizaron un pequeño concierto con canciones en inglés para mostrar nuestro rechazo a la violencia de género.

Christmas Cards Contest

Students from 1º and 2º of ESO have taken part in the traditional Christmas Cards Contest, organised by the French and English Departments. Once again, our students have displayed their creativity to wish us Merry Christmas. 

Halloween 2016

A year on, as is tradition, our first and second year E.S.O. students have taken part in the Jack-o´-lanterns contest and exhibition, which is organized by the English Department.
